With many companies transitioning to partial or full work-from-home schedules due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, employees have certainly been missing interacting in person with their coworkers. So as we near our first full year where many companies have staff working remotely, it’s important to start considering opportunities to bring small groups back together to boost employee morale.

Operating in the camping and powersports industry, we’re in a great position to be able to offer couples, families, friends, and other small groups the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while respecting state guidelines and company policies. Below are a few opportunities to consider in the months ahead to start getting employees back together for a few hours or even a weekend-long adventure.

Plan a Guided Snowmobile Tour

There’s nothing more thrilling – let alone socially responsible as a winter activity – than hopping on a snowmobile and running through the hundreds of miles of trails we are fortunate to enjoy here in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Fractional Toys offers employers the opportunity to get a small group of employees out on snowmobiles for anywhere from 4-8 hours and, by hiring a guide through the rental agency, you can rest assured that your staff will receive the proper training, operate at safe speeds, and have a great time.

Best of all, the snowmobile rentals can be delivered right to the trails so everyone can arrive ready to ride, without having to deal with hauling and unloading!

Rent an Ice House

If snowmobiling is a little too fast paced for your team, consider renting an ice house, either delivered to a Twin Cities area lake on a weekday, or for an employee to pick up and take to the lake of their choosing. Our spacious ice houses have eight holes and can sleep up to four adults in separate beds. The houses even come equipped with TVs, stereos, and well-appointed kitchens!

If you choose to rent from Fractional Toys, we’ll go above and beyond to provide poles, augers, fish finders, generators, and other gear to help get even the most novice of fishermen set up for success.

Plan a Camping Trip

If warmer weather activities are more your group’s style, now’s a great time of year to start planning a group camping trip this summer. There are some wonderful campgrounds within a 30-60 minute drive, so your team doesn’t have to go too far from home to get away and enjoy a few nights under the stars.

Rental campers are available from Fractional Toys that sleep four or more adults, along with all the gear they’ll need to have a comfortable and memorable stay. Most campgrounds offer TONS of individual and group activities from hiking to boating, horseback riding, golfing, ATV riding, and much more, so there’s no shortage of things to do to stay busy and have a great time.

Organize a Boat Cruise

Once summer arrives, everyone will be itching to soak up the sun and enjoy the land of 10,000 lakes once again. A fan favorite at Fractional Toys is a guided boat cruise on either the St. Croix River or Lake Minnetonka.

Half day cruises, including a stop at a popular restaurant or beachside picnic, are very reasonably priced and guaranteed to please employees of all ages. By hiring a Captain with your rental, everyone can truly kick back and relax without the added responsibility of navigating the water.
